Topic: Keodalah v. Allstate: Duties and Personal Liability of Adjusters in
Washington State
Overview: This presentation will discuss the Washington Supreme Court’s recent Keodalah v. Allstate decision narrowly holding that adjusters cannot be held personally liable for bad faith. The case will also discuss the Washington State Insurance Fair Conduct Act, bad faith generally, adjuster roles and duties, and best practices for adjusters and other insurance professionals.
